HOW DID HE POP THE QUESTION?
Casey proposed at my parents' house in New Hampshire last summer. Prior to leaving for my parents' house, Casey had asked me what I wanted for my birthday, and I said an engagement ring (we had been discussing the idea of getting married for awhile). We were going up to visit my family for a week, and Casey promised we would go shopping for a ring when we returned to NJ. A few days into our visit, at a time when all of my family members were occupied elsewhere, Casey asked me to sit down because he wanted to talk to me. He presented me with a large, wrapped package and told me it was a gift to show me that he was serious about getting married. I unwrapped the package, which turned out to be a wedding planning book. I happily thanked him and opened the book to look through the pages, and when I did, I found the engagement ring. Casey had carved a slot into the pages of the book, and the ring was nestled inside of it. He had the ring the entire time I had been asking him to go shopping for one, and he had even asked my dad for permission to marry me while I was showering a day or two before he proposed!

WHAT WAS THE SILLIEST THING THAT HAPPENED ON YOUR BIG DAY?
I have to pick one silly thing? How about two? It's between the Rascal Flatts concert happening down the road at the same time as the wedding that caused everyone to have to detour all around Camden (and even some accidentally to Philly) or the priest yelling for a microphone at the beginning of the ceremony for 10 minutes and then deciding to have a private conversation with me and Casey in front of everyone after getting the microphone, thus causing all our guests to have to stare in silence for an additional 5 minutes! Awkward!

WHAT WAS YOUR FAVORITE PERSONAL WEDDING DETAIL?
I loved the touch of feathers that were worked into all the decor on the tables, in the bouquets, in the bridesmaids' hair, and on their clutches. You wouldn't think feathers would fit into an aquarium wedding, but the fish were Casey's thing, and I love birds, so it worked. I secretly themed the wedding "fish and feathers" while we were planning.

TELL US ABOUT THE HONEYMOON...
We honeymooned in Barbados for 10 days. We went on a Pirate Ship Party Cruise, sampled many different tasty dishes, and passed the days on the beach swimming and surfing. The best part was all the dogs that popped up everywhere. Casey is like a dog magnet and they all loved him. There was this one brown dog who would show up on the beach everyday and hang out with us, and another three dogs that hung out at the beach bar we frequented in the evenings. Then, of course, there were all the roosters on the surrounding properties that crowed not only in the morning, but all day long. It turned into a joke between us. A rooster would crow and we would laugh to each other and say, "oh, there's your friend calling!"

WHAT IS YOUR FAVORITE THING ABOUT EACH OTHER (for both of you)?
My favorite thing about Casey is his positive attitude. Even when things seem downright terrible, he'll always find the good in things and in people too. He's so nice and personable to all people, and everyone loves him. I think that's part of his positive attitude.
Casey says his favorite thing about me is my intelligence and independence when it comes to certain aspects of my life, but neediness in others which makes him feel wanted. I know my strengths but can admit my weaknesses and am not afraid to rely on him for support.
