Rachel and Mike celebrated their wedding at the Mountain Top Inn & Resort - one of the most picturesque venues in Vermont! Our lovely bride Rachel has worked as a wedding planner on some of our favorite weddings, so I knew her OWN wedding day was going to be out of this world. But my imagination wasn't ready for reality....wait until you see these views!!! The Mountain Top Inn boasts over 700 private acres featuring meadows, woods, gardens, and a breathtaking lake. Rachel and Mike brought the inside out (in the form of gorgeous lounges, lawn games, a champagne cart, and more) and the outside in (a barn covered head to toe in greenery and twinkle lights). But one of my favorite details was their audio Guestbook! Guests could pick up the adorable rotary phone and leave a "voicemail" of well wishes for the couple to listen to later. Love it!
Destination weddings are my favorite because we get to spend more time than normal with the couple and their family. I especially LOVE getting to know everyone at the rehearsal and welcome festivities the night before as it makes the wedding day all the more special. Plus, we get to sneak in a mini session of the bride-and-groom-to-be! Letβs start with some photos from just before the rehearsalβ¦look at this insanely romantic Jane-Austen-esque fog!
And now we move to another section of the property for the wedding day!
Can we talk about how Loeffler Randall become the QUEEN of shoes basically overnight?! Obsessed.
True love is knowing that your person is 10 million times more beautiful than these views!
Alanis Morrissette had clearly not met Rachel and Mike before writing her famous song lyrics because these two fully embraced the rain on their wedding day!!! Thankfully, we got to enjoy both the rain AND blue skies that day.
The views were just as beautiful from below the mountain!

Uniquely Chic Vintage provided the most beautiful lounge areas for cocktail hour!
The barn was like a magical enchanted forest full of twinkle lights and greenery.
